Managing Your Brand Doesn't Have to be a C Word

Welcome to the C Word! Thank you so much for supporting us in our endeavour to shake up the creative and branding sectors, to make marketing, PR and branding affordable, accessible and profitable for small businesses in Australia.

Allow me to introduce myself and a little about who we are. I have over a decade of experience in national roles of business management, marketing, events, campaign

management and community fundraising.

When I worked in the Not-For-Profit sector, it was so frustrating and disheartening to witness how unsupportive and cold the majority of major retail chains and corporations were to charitable causes. Yet, most small businesses were not only willing to help, they would donate their time, products and services, year after year. Even if the business was struggling, they would offer to advertise events in their shop windows, or keep a money collection tin on their counter. Small business owners restored my faith in humanity...a faith that was almost destroyed by the corporate world.

I have seen first hand, how hard small business owners work and how time poor many are due to having to juggle all of the components of their business. So many small business owners are desperate for a hand up (especially after Covid), but unfortunately, many are charged a ridiculous amount by agencies for minor assistance in marketing, content creation, branding etc. I want to change that!

Marketing and web development shouldn't be charged at an ongoing cost. We should teach our clients how to become self-sufficient and empower them with the tools and knowledge they need to promote their business.

Marketing doesn't have to be a C Word, but when you have worked a 12 hour day, six days a can sure feel like it.

I founded the C Word because I want to work with small businesses to help them expand their brand and extend their reach. My goal is to share my knowledge and experience so that eventually my clients won't need me anymore.

We are not another agency that exists purely to squeeze as much money out of a client as possible. If we take you on as a client, it is because we believe in you! The best part is, our services are also a business expense for taxation purposes. Let's make content creation and branding fun again.
